i believe that in my last post... i kinda belittled the act of dying for your country... sure... i do not believe in it... and given a choice... i believe no one will want to do it... like someone said... you will never willingly fight and die for a country... but you fight for the freedom of your family and friends... fellow countrymen... yeah... and i was wrong...
we should all respect those who have lost their lives in wars past and present... many of them probably died not by choice but by circumstances.. which is sad... and many-a-times unnecessary... however, if it were not for these brave men... who sadly lost their lives... the hitlers, stalins and saddams of this world will still exercise their tranny... yeah... just imagine if hilter had won WW2... what kind of a world will we be in!!... hence, we should respect the war veterans, dead or living, who gave us our freedom from tranny... especially those who died... some of whom fought and died at a younger age than me... that is, to me, a very sobbering thought... reminds me of a LOTR scene where the king of rohan (correct me if i am wrong) said that a father should never have to bury his son... yeah... it should be the other way around... but the sad truth is; war is young men dying and old men talking... quote from the movie troy... so we should give the war dead their due, or long over-due, respect... we should all appreciate them...
went to kensington temple today... great message... powerful message... i believe that they will put it in their website soon, like tmr... yeah... finally gave my tithes for october... i know that it is late... so kinda rounded it up a few pounds... haha... cos i felt like i owed God interest... haha... anyway, felt good to give my tithes... it was a burden... now it is off... yeah... haha... there are times when i think that giving more tithes den you should, kinda obliges God to give you more back?? haha... hmm... it is not true... but i do get such thoughts sometimes... its like instead of praying for God to help you in your exam or driving test, you pray and thank God for giving you an 'A' or thank him for your pass in the driving test... den it kinda obliges Him to give you what you have already thanked him for giving... hahha... hmm... it is just a silly idea of mine...
