Chocolate Gold Butterfly.

Well, went to Tate's Modern yesterday, which is a museum for modern art. Which is very very abstract. Some were nice though. Many others were just rubbish... but i have no rights to judge as i am not educated in the fine arts. Well then, in true spirit of modern art and whatever you call it. I shall name the above, Butterfly. haha... at least there is some what a shape of a butterfly... better den drawing a black line on red canvase and calling it "Adam" as the black like signifies the beginning of mankind. bleah... rubbish... but then again, one man's trash is other's treasure. haha, Its confusing, i know...

The original drawing did not turn out the way i wanted it to turn out, i wanted it to look like ripples and rainbow colours would come through the ripples like a prism... but that failed... horribly, just a mess of colours, the colours were not pastel enough to look like rainbow, or it was too strongh... so instead i used a mixture of gold, maroon and a little black to get the above. I would like to call that colour combi "chocolate gold".. ooo.. yummilicious... i like the way this one turn out... sometimes, it is amazing that things may turn out much better than what you expect... vice versa...

in the week end, also went to 4 seasons restaurant, to sample the lengendary duck... its was good... but i am not really some food critic... to me duck is duck... but of course this duck or rather we had 3 ducks, was very crispy and yet very juicy inside... haha... good stuff... and well worth the 6.50 quid... which is relatively cheap in london... to compare, a big mac meal is 3.99 quid. so there you go... just pay a little more and after waiting in queue for a while, you can get it too... hmm... it was cheap also because we had a group of like 12?? i think.. yeah... but was really full after that.

Hillsongs today... yup... was dissapointed a little by the speaker... because he was from new creation singapore... yeah... did not agree with everything he said but it was mostly sound... just that he makes it seem as if god's grace is all we need and that the law (10 commandments) condemns us sinners. I mean, true that we need god's grace, but we need the law to check ourselves too right? i feel that grace works with the law and not against it. other than this huge huge doctrinal disagreement, the rest was sound. however, it left me feeling controversial about his teaching... bleah... rubbish... half truths are as good as lies... and today is one of them... hope he never gets invited here again. sorry, i could have been more subtle about my distaste of him, but this is my blog and i write as i please... i believe such teachings will only lead pple astray.

Went to herrods and bought krispy kremes, hope i spelled correctly. cheers.
