Posting From the UK!

Yoz.. Hmm... Finally at London... But school is not starting yet! coz there are lots of things to do like having fun before we start work!!! Haha... but today is only the first day... Its now midnight london time. Activities by the hall is packed.

Well... There are lots of singaporeans, malaysians and hongkees here... hmm... some of them played majong just now... haha... den now talking cok. Ang Mohs are really friendly. which is cool.

Well, the weather is both good and bad... the good thing is that it is nice and cool so that you dont sweat a lot if at all (can walk very fast and not break a sweat, sure beats the hot and sticky weather in Singapore) but i just had the worst weather attack today! It drizzled, den it got sunny, den it drizzled, den it got sunny again, den it drizzled again, and it got sunny again. I basically got wet and dry like 5 times today... after a while, you kinda ignore the rain... afterall, the rain here usually is only a small drizzle which although frequent, light and irritating, cannot be compared to the thunderstorm rain we get in singapore.

Walked a lot too... although the tube system is good, meaning that the bus system is unnecessary, most of us just walk. Afterall, the next underground stop is only 1-2 bus stops away(5-10 mins walk, depending on your pace). The tube stations are close together and very convenient, but also unreliable. Delays are common and there are times when the line actually stops running. Haha, but its not that horrible, it has not affected me yet, at least!! The good thing is that with so many different interconnecting train lines, there is usually more den one way to get from point A to point B. But i wont be using much of the tube, my hall is like rolling distance frm my mech eng dept. Yup, can roll out of bed and den roll to school.

Reached London a few days before anything started so had some time to tour. uploaded some of the pics. I like London's history and architecture, a.k.a where there are victorian building still in use. Epitome of modern use of acient buildings. Hmm... truely unique and long heritage. Something modern Singapore can and will never have... sadz. Went to buckingham, saw the king's horses and the king's men... but could not put humty dumty back together again. Ok... lame. Anyway, now it is queen and not king... The guards' uniform are damn nice, and their rifles are real, so dun think that the guards are just there for ceremonies and for show, they can "load, cock and shoot" you if they need to!! I wonder what is under those big black furry hats??!!!

Hmmm: Money makes the world go round, without it, the world goes flat.
